Senior Quality Assurance Quality / Control Engineer at Trucrete Solutions Limited

About the Role

Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will oversee quality standards across our projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, QA/QC procedures, and inspection records
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project scope, specifications, and drawings
• Maintain comprehensive quality records including inspection requests, audit reports, QA/QC checklists, equipment calibration plans, issue logs, rework schedules, risk registers, and non-conformance/corrective and preventive action reports
• Conduct quality audits of TSL projects as directed by the Quality Manager
• Record and report immediately any deviations from project scope, specifications, and drawings
• Collaborate with the TSL QA/QC Laboratory team to ensure project testing aligns with laboratory procedures, project-specific requirements, and regulatory standards
• Verify that all testing and measurement equipment are within calibration and possess required calibration certificates
• Investigate non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
• Approve incoming materials for specification conformity by conducting visual and measurement testing; reject or return non-conforming materials
• Assist the QA/QC Manager in developing and training QA/QC personnel
• Attend QA/QC meetings, record minutes, and track action items
• Implement TSL QA/QC Policy and Plans on all projects
• Review approved drawings for discrepancies and report findings to the Quality Manager for modifications
• Attend project site meetings and other regular meetings as defined in the QA system
• Identify, document, and communicate quality issues and potential risks in operations and third-party contractor work to the QA/QC Manager
• Support and collaborate with project team members as needed
