## Title: Senior Process Engineer

Job Overview

The Senior Process Engineer will lead and execute process engineering activities across all phases of EPC/EPCIC oil and gas projects from concept development through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operations support.

The role requires strong technical expertise in natural gas processing and other oil and gas process facility design, coupled with practical field experience in EPCIC projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering activities throughout all project phases (concept, design, construction, commissioning, operations)
  • Provide process engineering input across design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Design and optimize natural gas processing plants and oil and gas process facilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in process engineering within the oil and gas sector, preferably in an EPC or EPCIC environment
  • Proven experience in natural gas processing plant and oil and gas process facilities design
  • Practical field experience in oil and gas EPCIC projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international design codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and familiarity with Nigerian regulatory frameworks

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Strong technical capability in process equipment design, sizing, and specification
  • Proficiency in process simulation and design software (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Pipe-Flo, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in P&ID development tools (AutoCAD, SmartPlant P&ID, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional registration or membership (e.g., COREN or equivalent)
