Senior Principal Java Engineer at KloudOpp Limited

About the Role

KloudOpp Limited is seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Java Engineer with deep mastery across modern and legacy Java ecosystems — including Java SE 6 → Java 23, Jakarta EE, Spring Framework 3 → Spring Boot 3.x, Micronaut, Quarkus, and large-scale JVM systems.

This role is for an engineering leader capable of architecting and building cloud-native microservices, secure enterprise applications, modern monoliths, and highly complex business logic–driven systems.

You must have delivered solutions across FinTech, HealthTech, Blockchain, and Logistics and be comfortable working on live production platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, advanced in system design, and strong in leading architecture decisions. The engineer must also be able to teach, mentor, and demonstrate concepts live.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Engineering

• Architect and build enterprise-grade microservices using Java 11–23, Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus
• Design modern, secure monolithic applications where domain cohesion is required
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and CQRS patterns
• Lead high-level technical decision-making and system design sessions

Cloud, Infrastructure & DevOps

• Build, deploy, and manage Java platforms on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Design CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation (Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes), and manage observability
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, encryption, and compliance

Java & JVM Engineering

Demonstrate mastery in Java core concepts:

• Concurrency and multithreading
• Memory management & JVM tuning
• Reactive programming
• Streams, Lambdas, Collections, Generics
• Functional programming patterns
