Senior PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at LawPavilion Business Solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and enhance new features
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following industry best practices
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards
• Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability, with a focus on MySQL
• Manage data storage solutions and ensure seamless data flow across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end and third-party services
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development using PHP
• Proficient in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Solid experience with database technologies, particularly MySQL, including query optimization and schema design
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira
• Proven track record of delivering production-ready solutions

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment tools such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
