Senior Lecturer (Mass Communication)

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess the following:

• A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
• At least three (3) years post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience at the university level
• Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, in line with university appointment requirements
• Demonstrated competence in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mass Communication
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Strong ICT skills and the ability to use modern teaching and learning technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria)
