Senior Laboratory Techhnician at Ascentech Services Limited

Role Summary

We seek a dedicated Senior Laboratory Technician to conduct a wide range of construction laboratory tests including soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests in line with applicable construction standards. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain laboratory testing equipment for concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates
• Conduct secondary testing related to permeability, strength, and materials acceptance
• Record and label samples in compliance with construction standards
• Compile, document, and input test results accurately into laboratory systems
• Ensure the laboratory operates in compliance with accreditation and safety standards
• Maintain records of equipment calibration and verification
• Perform additional assigned tasks within laboratory operations as needed

Required Competencies

Education & Experience

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, Geosciences, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in a construction laboratory
• Practical experience in soil, asphalt, concrete, and field testing
