Senior Audit Consultant at Doc Advisory

About This Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate – Audit & Assurance to lead and manage audit engagements across a range of industries.

This role involves working closely with junior team members and clients to ensure audit quality, regulatory compliance, and the accurate presentation of financial statements.

As a senior associate, you will play a key role in planning and executing audits in line with IFRS, ISA, and established audit methodology, while also supporting team development and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes
• Lead audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Review audit documentation and financial statements for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Supervise, mentor, and coach junior auditors, providing on-the-job training and feedback
• Identify, assess, and respond to audit risks; recommend practical improvements to client processes
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely, solutions-oriented support
• Collaborate with tax, advisory, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive client service
• Present audit findings clearly to senior management and clients; assist in preparing audit reports
• Stay current with industry regulations, accounting standards, and professional best practices
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for added-value services

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACA or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of audit experience in a professional services environment
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
