About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a Senior Associate Lawyer to join their growing practice. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex legal matters and provide strategic legal advice to clients
• Prepare comprehensive legal documentation and represent clients in court proceedings
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex matters
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective case strategies
• Manage multiple high-stakes cases under tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys within the firm
• Contribute to the firm's success in achieving favorable outcomes for clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) – mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of post-call legal experience, with a focus on dispute resolution or similar practice areas
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents
• Deep understanding of Nigerian law with demonstrated ability to apply legal concepts effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong negotiation and client management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and mentor junior associates
• Computer literacy
• Professional presentation and articulate communication style

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₦600,000 – ₦700,000
