Senior Associate Consultant – Accounting, Audit and Tax at Lefort Consulting

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Senior Associate Consultant – Accounting, Audit and Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards
• Conduct audits and reviews of internal control processes and systems
• Lead and participate in audit, review, and consulting services, working independently and guiding junior staff
• Foster strong relationships with clients to drive satisfaction and growth
• Deliver tax compliance and advisory services, including planning and implementation strategies
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring quality and timely delivery of client projects
• Stay up-to-date with Nigeria's tax laws and international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years post-graduation/qualification related experience in a consulting firm
• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
• Robust working knowledge of Nigeria's tax laws
• Familiarization with IASs/IFRSs

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office packages
• Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
• Strong team player
