Senior Accountant

Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making. - The ideal candidate should havestrong technical accounting skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and controls. Responsibilties - Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory requirements - Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations - Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting - Lead month-end and year-end close processes - Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit activities - Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff - Support tax preparation and filings in coordination with tax advisors - Improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred) - Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience is required. Skills: - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) - Advanced Excel skills - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities - Effective communication and leadership skills.
