Security Personnel at Jordan Brooke Estates

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our team at Jordan Brooke Estates. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the estate, residents, and visitors. This role requires individuals who are proactive, professional, and able to handle security situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol the estate to ensure the security of residents and property
• Monitor entrance and exit points, verifying visitor and delivery access
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies within the estate
• Maintain a log of all security-related activities and incidents
• Receive diesel deliveries, confirm quantities, and accurately update the diesel logbook
• Pump water as required and monitor water levels, escalating quickly if there are shortages or faults
• Inspect and ensure that all security equipment is functional
• Enforce estate rules and prevent unauthorized access or activities
• Assist with traffic control and parking within the estate
• Liaise with the management team regarding any security concerns

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SSCE or equivalent
• Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for long periods
• Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to remain calm in high-pressure situations
