The role involves monitoring activities, enforcing company policies, preventing security breaches, and responding to incidents swiftly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, gates, and security equipment
• Control entry and exit points; verify identification and maintain visitor logs
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; provide necessary support and escalate when required
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Assist in crowd management during events or emergencies
• Operate surveillance systems (CCTV) and report any suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency response teams when needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (OND/NCE preferred)
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an advantage
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long periods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency procedures
• Integrity, honesty, and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
