Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Policy Development

• Develop and direct strategies for the security function, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals
• Establish, implement, and periodically review security policies, procedures, and SOPs tailored to the retail sector

Operational Security Management

• Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, personnel, and security systems
• Ensure the proper deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of security equipment (e.g., CCTV)
• Conduct periodic reviews of CCTV and incident logs to identify and report unusual or suspicious activities

Security Guard Management

• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery
• Conduct routine assessments of security contractors to confirm adherence to company policies and standards

Incident & Risk Management

• Act as the focal point for security incident reporting, investigation, and resolution
• Lead incident response planning, investigations, and corrective actions, including collaboration with law enforcement when required
• Prepare timely security reports and recommendations for management

Compliance & Audits

• Collaborate with management, risk, and audit teams to ensure compliance with corporate security requirements
• Monitor adherence to legal and regulatory standards governing security operations

Stakeholder & External Relations

• Maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and other relevant external bodies
• Serve as the primary liaison for all security-related communications and escalations

People & Culture

• Conduct background checks on prospective employees to support safe hiring practices
• Drive initiatives and training programs to build a security-conscious workforce across all levels of the business
