Position Overview: - We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to join our team at St. Dominic Catholic Hospital. - The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and hospital assets. - The ideal candidate will be alert, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Patrol hospital premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or security breaches - Respond to security incidents - Provide customer service and direction to patients, visitors, and staff - Enforce hospital policies, procedures, and regulations - Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, or security breaches - Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and activities - Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure a safe environment - Conduct security checks on equipment, vehicles, and personnel - Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve security skills. Requirements: - Candidates should possess an SSCE or equivalent with 2+ years of security experience in a hospital or related field - Security training or certification (e.g., Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions: - Work day-shifts, Night-shifts, including weekends, and holidays - Stand or walk for extended periods - Work in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to stressful situations. Salary N50,000 - N60,000 / Month.
