We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening.
Position Overview:
- The Secretary / Sample Receptionist will manage front-desk operations, receive and document laboratory samples, and provide administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, and properly document incoming samples
- Attend to clients professionally and respond to inquiries
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic records of samples and office documents
- Prepare basic correspondence, reports, and internal documents
- Support general administrative and office duties
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification
- Practical experience in a secretarial, administrative, or reception role, preferably in a laboratory, medical, or professional office setting
- Experience handling client interactions, front-desk duties, and documentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organised records, and meet deadlines
- Experience in sample reception, logging, or documentation will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and record-management abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Professional attitude and attention to detail.
