About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Sea Clearing Officer specializing in import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance and documentation for all import and export shipments
• Oversee port and terminal operations
• Conduct physical cargo inspection
• Liaise with regulatory authorities
• Facilitate fast-track processing of shipments
• Coordinate logistics and haulage operations
• Coordinate and manage all cargo clearance aspects of import and export
• Handle physical and operational management of cargo at seaports and terminals
• Process transit shipments via sea, air, and land routes
• Prepare PAAR documentation and calculate rates accurately
• Generate comprehensive reports on clearance activities

Required Qualifications

• NCE, OND, or HND qualification
• 8–10 years of experience in customs clearance or port operations

Key Skills

• Strong reporting skills
• Team player mentality
• Knowledge of PAAR preparation and rate calculation
• Proficiency in customs documentation and regulatory compliance
