About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a School Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom rounds and check pupils regarding personal hygiene
• Collect and safely store all prescribed drugs, ensuring proper administration
• Supervise pupils during physical education and break time
• Administer first aid treatment to sick children and staff, and monitor any changes in condition
• Send medical newsletters to inform parents and guardians of outbreaks and necessary precautions
• Ensure pupils affected by communicable infections remain at home until a medical clearance certificate is obtained before readmission
• Conduct hourly monitoring of toilet facilities
• Perform thorough daily inspections of play equipment and playing grounds
• Inspect water dispensers and water bottles daily, ensuring regular supply of water refills

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Nursing or registered and certified nursing credential from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Previous experience in a similar role in a school setting is highly regarded
