About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of School Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care and first aid to students and staff in case of illness or injury
• Conduct routine health checks
• Manage and administer prescribed medications to students in line with the Medical Director's approval
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Monitor and manage peculiar health conditions such as asthma
• Implement medical workshops and talks as approved by management
• Identify and address potential health and safety hazards within the school environment
• Liaise with the Medical Director and school Management on matters concerning student health

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license
• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• At least 1–2 years of post-qualification nursing experience (experience in pediatric, community, or school health settings is an advantage)
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and adolescents
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work with children and adolescents
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies
