Position Overview: - The School Counsellor is responsible for supporting the academic, emotional, social, and behavioural development of secondary school students. - The counsellor provides guidance services, career counselling, and early intervention support to help students achieve personal growth, well-being, and academic success. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, personal, emotional, and social issues - Support students with behavioural challenges, peer relationships, and emotional well-being - Identify at-risk students and implement early intervention strategies - Offer career guidance and subject selection support for students - Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, and parents to support student development - Conduct workshops on study skills, mental health awareness, life skills, and career planning - Maintain confidential student records and counselling reports - Refer students to external professionals when necessary - Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment - Uphold ethical and professional counselling standards.
