Position Overview
Aristeia Preparatory College is seeking a qualified School Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership, teaching staff, and other team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational administration, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks, including admissions support, record-keeping, student liaison, and assisting with compliance and reporting duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support to the Head of School, teachers, and other staff members
- Act as the first point of contact for all general enquiries from students, parents, and visitors, providing excellent customer service
- Manage student admissions and enrolment processes, maintaining accurate student records and databases
- Assist in the preparation of reports, policies, newsletters, and other communications
- Maintain confidential student and staff files in line with data protection regulations
- Support the organisation and scheduling of meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions
- Oversee office supplies and ensure resources are ordered and maintained appropriately
- Manage attendance recording systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
- Assist in maintaining the school's safeguarding records and support safeguarding processes
- Provide administrative support for events, such as open days, parent evenings, and graduation ceremonies
- Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and service providers as required
- Support financial administration, including processing invoices, handling petty cash, and assisting with budget monitoring under the direction of the finance team
- Ensure compliance with school policies, regulatory requirements, and health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
