## Title: Salon Manager

About the Role

Amy Consulting is expanding its dynamic team and seeking an experienced Salon Manager to lead operations and drive business success in our Lagos location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all premises
  • Enforce hygiene practices across all workstations
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain records of cash inflows and outflows
  • Manage customer records and client information
  • Oversee appointment scheduling and coordination
  • Supervise client communication and relationship management
  • Execute marketing activities, including social media campaigns
  • Manage loyalty programs and customer retention initiatives
  • Verify availability of resources, equipment, and facilities
  • Create and present reports on salon operations

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Cosmetology, or related field
  • Relevant salon management or supervisory training (advantageous)

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years in salon, spa, or beauty business operations
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven track record in salon operations management, team coordination, and achieving sales or performance targets

Required Skills & Competencies

Salon Operations Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of daily salon workflow and appointment systems
  • Expertise in inventory management and hygiene standards

Hair & Beauty Service Familiarity:

  • Good knowledge of haircare, beauty treatments, and salon services
  • Ability to guide clients and staff with confidence

Product Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with haircare products and retail operations
  • Ability to promote salon product lines and execute upselling strategies

Sales & Marketing:

  • Capability to create and execute promotions and loyalty programs
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns

Financial Management:

  • Skilled in preparing sales reports and managing financial records
  • Proficient in handling petty cash and daily income reconciliation
  • Experience in cost control and waste reduction

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to train, supervise, and motivate salon staff for service excellence
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional client relationship management
