## Title: Sales Representative

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Sales Representative at PC Planet in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Customer Engagement: Actively identify and contact potential customers online and through phone to generate sales leads and build a client base
  • Product Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of computer hardware, software, and peripherals to effectively communicate features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers
  • Sales & Negotiation: Present products, answer customer questions, explain technical details, and negotiate prices and terms to secure sales
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and grow profitable relationships with customers by providing excellent service, handling queries, and following up on leads and inquiries
  • Sales Target Achievement: Work independently or with a team to meet or exceed monthly or quarterly sales goals and drive revenue for the company
  • Market & Trend Awareness: Stay informed about the latest technology trends, online marketing strategies, and competitor activities

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement); degrees in business, marketing, or computer science are beneficial
  • Previous experience in telesales, client service, customer service, or sales

Essential Skills

  • Communication & Customer Service: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively through various digital platforms and provide outstanding customer service
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic to strong knowledge of computers, software, and related IT terminology
  • Sales & Persuasion: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to overcome objections and close deals
  • Organization & Self-Motivation: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and remain self-motivated to achieve sales targets
  • Digital Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with online sales tools, CRM systems, and communication platforms (email, chat, phone)
