## Title: Sales Representative - Furniture

About the Role

An established furniture company is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Lagos. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing the complete sales process, and achieving monthly sales targets in a dynamic showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet pre-assigned sales targets each month
  • Greet customers as they enter the showroom, understand their furniture needs, provide recommendations, and conduct guided tours
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry to closing the sale
  • Answer customer questions professionally, conduct suggestive selling to increase transaction value, process paperwork, and arrange financing options when needed
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of customers who do not make purchases and follow up accordingly
  • Keep the showroom clean and organized by regularly dusting displays, arranging furniture, and posting point-of-sale information and tags accurately
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and assist with ordering processes
  • Continuously learn about new products and explain specific features and customizable options to customers
  • Process quotes and sales orders
  • Assist with showroom setup, design, and product presentation
  • Convert visitors into loyal, long-term clients through timely follow-up and quality service delivery
  • Discuss warranties, replacement parts, and after-sales services with customers
  • Notify installers after sales to arrange packaging and delivery of purchases
  • Represent and promote the organization's products and services at events and sales parties
  • Conduct outbound follow-up calls and emails to potential and existing customers
  • Verify pricing accuracy on all transactions
  • Report any after-sales customer issues to the sales supervisor

Requirements

  • OND or HND qualification
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
