## Title: Sales Officer
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team. The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the effective distribution and visibility of the company's products within an assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, executing trade activities, and building strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory
- Ensure effective product distribution across assigned outlets and markets
- Maintain adequate stock levels with distributors and monitor timely order placements
- Implement route-to-market (RTM) strategies to maximize coverage and availability
- Execute trade marketing and promotional activities in line with company guidelines
- Ensure product visibility, availability, and pricing compliance at retail points
- Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback to management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Provide market intelligence and insights from customer interactions
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track and monitor key sales performance indicators
- Recommend actions to improve territory performance
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 - 4 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in a field sales or territory role
- Strong understanding of trade, distribution, and retail operations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of ERP or sales tracking tools is an added advantage
