About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales & Marketing Associate to support the growth of one of our upcoming startup ventures. This role is ideal for an NYSC corps member with previous experience in sales and/or marketing, who is eager to take ownership, learn fast, and deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and acquire new customers for the startup
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads across channels such as WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and referrals
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape
- Reach out to prospects, pitch product offerings, follow up, and close deals
- Collaborate with the product and operations team to refine messaging, offers, and customer experience
- Track KPIs and provide weekly reports on leads generated, conversion rates, and campaign performance
- Suggest creative marketing ideas to improve brand visibility and drive customer acquisition
Requirements
- Must be a current Lagos NYSC corps member
- Experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internships or past roles)
- Strong communication and persuasive skills
- Ability to work independently, think fast, and take initiative
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and lead management tools is an added advantage
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
