Job Summary

A leading European multinational specializing in sealants, adhesives, polyurethane foams, and technical sprays is seeking a driven Sales Executive to join their team. This is a 100% sales-focused role based in Lagos, requiring a self-motivated professional with a hunter mentality and passion for winning new business directly from construction companies and contractors.

About the Role

This position involves regular visits to construction sites across regions, combining commercial drive with a basic technical understanding of building materials. You will work with site engineers, foremen, and project managers to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and develop new business with construction companies, contractors, and installers
• Visit construction sites frequently to identify opportunities and engage with site decision-makers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat sales
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Provide product demonstrations and basic technical support on-site when required
• Gather and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and project activities
• Prepare regular sales activity reports and forecasts

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years of proven sales experience in the building materials sector (e.g., sealants, sanitary, electrical, hardware, or contracting materials)
• Established network or experience selling to construction companies and contractors
• Strong hunter mentality, proactive, target-oriented, and persistent in closing deals
• Excellent spoken English with strong communication skills to interact confidently with diverse clients
• Based in Lagos, with willingness to travel and visit sites across regions
