## Title: Sales Executive – Chemical Manufacturing

Job Summary

Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Executive with strong experience in chemical sales to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and maintain strategic relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of industrial chemicals, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in B2B technical sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the chemicals market
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement to negotiation and closing
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and distributors
  • Provide product recommendations and technical guidance to customers when required
  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and outstanding proposals

Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of industrial chemicals, applications, and industry standards
  • Work closely with the technical and production team to support customer needs and product specifications
  • Stay updated on new products, regulatory changes, and safety protocols relevant to chemical sales

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management
  • Ensure proper documentation of client interactions, contracts, order processing, and CRM updates
  • Monitor debtor accounts and ensure timely payments

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in chemical sales or related field
