## Title: Sales and Business Development Officer

Role Overview

The Sales and Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and building business relationships, closing leads and opportunities. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong business relationships, achieving set sales targets, and contributing to the expansion of the company's market share and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets (zones or estates) and develop existing zones
  • Conduct market research, analysis, and develop strategies to identify profitable partnerships for development
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calls, bulk emails, networking, social selling, and other personal sales and marketing strategies
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients, estates, businesses, and partners
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure profitable deals with estates, businesses, and partners
  • Work with the team to develop and implement targeted market campaigns and promotions in developing zones and estates
  • Maintain relationships with estate stakeholders and serve as the account officer managing estates in your zone
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and customer details in sales databases and systems
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) for evaluation
  • Travel to various destinations to facilitate transactions as needed
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by your Line Manager and Management

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications with a minimum of 2 years of experience
