## Title: Sales Assistant & Cashier
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sales Assistant & Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods
- Ensure all monetary exchanges are properly recorded with attention to detail to guarantee correct change and receipt issuance
- Maintain the cash register in a balanced state, reconciling daily transactions and reporting discrepancies promptly
- Provide customers with accurate receipts, ensuring all items are correctly billed and properly tracked for returns and exchanges
- Maintain and update customer transaction records according to company procedures
- Complete and file all reports and receipts in a timely and organized manner
Requirements
- Minimum degree qualification in a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Computer literacy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to build positive customer relationships
- Strong teamworking capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Preferred age range: 20–30 years
