## Title: Sales and Services Engineer

About the Role

Asset Matrix Energy Services Limited is recruiting a Sales and Services Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position combines technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring someone who can manage client relationships, provide technical support, and drive revenue growth across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term client relationships by managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical assistance and product education on Instrumentation, Quality Control, Electrical Apparatus Testing & Measurement, Analytical, Process Monitoring, and Industrial Automation products and equipment
  • Generate sales inquiries and respond to Requests for Quotes and client inquiries
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
  • Start-up, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot a wide variety of instruments, process monitoring and controlling instruments, and industrial instruments
  • Liaison with clients, suppliers, principals, and relevant authorities
  • Promote the company's product portfolio and lines of representation amongst current and prospective clients through emails, cold calls, and scheduled visits
  • Identify sales prospects and follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and sales contracts
  • Follow up on submitted quotations, specification queries, and invoices
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing materials
  • Manage content for the company's websites and e-commerce sites and develop special sales activities to reduce stock
  • Prepare status reports including activity, closing, follow-up, and adherence to goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of instrumentation, quality control, and industrial automation equipment
  • Strong sales and client relationship management abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and technical experts
  • Proficiency in preparing technical proposals and documentation
