Sales and Marketing Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to drive sales growth and strengthen brand visibility in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, identifying lucrative sales opportunities, and building lasting relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new customers
• Identify, pursue, and convert sales leads into profitable business opportunities
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and local trends
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns, promotional materials, and events
• Track, analyze, and report sales and marketing performance metrics
• Contribute to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Represent the company professionally at community events, exhibitions, and trade fairs
• Provide feedback to management on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years post-NYSC work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education sector
• Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driving license and driving skills
• Close proximity or within reasonable commuting distance to Rumobiakani, Port Harcourt, Rivers (preferred)

Additional Information

This position entails working alternate Saturdays per month.
