Job description

We are hiring a motivated, results-driven Territory Marketing & Sales Representative to grow Mikson’s presence and revenue across south west This role is field-focused and built around three things:
  • Availability (products are always where they should be)
  • Visibility (our shelves, counters, and recommendations win)
  • Off-take (stock moves, reorders happen fast)
You will build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, veterinary drug shops, agro stores, feed retailers, supermarkets/mini-marts (where applicable), and key local buyers and drive consistent sales growth in your assigned territory. Core Responsibilities 1) Territory Sales Growth (Field Execution) - Visit and actively sell to distributors, wholesalers, retailers, agro stores, and veterinary shops within the south west - Open new accounts and reactivate inactive accounts. - Push reorders through structured follow-up and relationship management. - Conduct regular market visits within the regionto monitor competitor pricing, promotions, stock movement, and market trends for animal health products, and submit structured market intelligence reports. - Promote and drive sales for new and priority animal health products, including product launches, in-shop education, simple demos, and follow-up conversion strategies. - Engage new and existing customers (distributors, wholesalers, vet shops, agro stores, feed shops, and institutional buyers) to understand demand patterns and animal health needs in the market, and recommend suitable product solutions. 2) Distributor & Retail Relationship Management - Build strong working relationships with: - distributors/sub-distributors - wholesalers - key retail outlets and shop owners - Support partners with reorder prompts, product guidance, and practical selling support. - Provide accurate, consistent information on pricing, stock availability, lead times, and product applications, ensuring customers can buy confidently and reorder quickly. - Support customers in selecting the correct product based on specifications and usage, including product indication, pack sizes, dosage forms, storage requirements, and proper handling. Visibility, Merchandising & Brand Presence Ensure Mikson products are properly positioned:
  • on shelves/showcases/counters
  • with correct pricing and a clean display
Place and maintain brand materials where applicable:
  • banners, stickers, flyers, shelf talkers, price boards (based on what Mikson uses)
  • Ensure Mikson products maintain strong shelf/counter visibility in customer outlets, including proper arrangement, clean display, and placement of approved branding materials [stickers/banners/flyers/price tags] where applicable.
