Rope Access Painters

A top employer is now accepting applications for this role. - We are seeking experienced Rope Access Painters to join our offshore operations team. Successful candidates must demonstrate safety awareness, expertise and competence through: Proven Offshore experience - Proven experience in offshore painting and coating maintenance - Knowledge of corrosion protection in marine environments - Familiarity with offshore structures (Platforms, Rigs, FPSOs) - Ability to read and interpret paint specifications and technical data sheets Strong safety awareness - Technical expertise to deliver high-quality surface preparation and coating works in marine environments. - Offshore & Safety Certifications: OPITO BOSIET, valid Offshore medical certificate, H₂S Awareness, Firefighting Training, First Aid / CPR - Health, Safety & Environment Training: Rope rescue training and Working at Height competence, Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Area / ATEX Awareness, Permit to Work (PTW) system awareness, Participation in Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Technical Requirements - IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certifications - Valid Rope Access logbook with documented offshore hours Blasting - Certified Industrial Blaster certification - Training in abrasive blasting and surface preparation techniques Painting & Coating  - Industrial Painter certification (recognized trade qualification) - Protective Coatings Applicator training (epoxy, polyurethane, fireproofing, etc.) - Surface preparation training (hand/power tools, water jetting, abrasive blasting awareness) - Coating manufacturer approvals (e.g., Jotun, Hempel, AkzoNobel – an advantage) - Strong understanding of offshore coating systems and corrosion protection
