Revenue Assurance Accountant at AshLuxury

Role Description

The Revenue Assurance Accountant will be responsible for safeguarding our financial interests by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue streams, minimizing revenue leakage, and identifying opportunities for revenue optimization. This role involves diligent analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and collaboration across teams to strengthen revenue processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis and reconciliation of revenue data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, irregularities, and potential revenue leakage in sales transactions, refunds, discounts, and other revenue streams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) to understand business processes and identify areas for revenue optimization
• Develop and implement controls and procedures to mitigate risks related to revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform regular audits and reviews of revenue-related processes and systems to maintain data integrity and reliability
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and disclosures related to revenue recognition for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including inquiries and documentation
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to revenue recognition and accounting standards
• Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in revenue assurance, audit, or financial control
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
