## Title: Retail and Business Banking Officer
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our banking team. In this role, you will drive business growth while delivering exceptional service to retail and business customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and manage new and existing retail and business banking customers
- Develop and execute strategies to grow deposits, loans, and overall customer portfolio
- Conduct credit assessments, prepare loan proposals, and ensure proper loan documentation
- Monitor loan repayments and maintain portfolio quality to minimize credit risk
- Cross-sell banking products and services to maximize customer value and engagement
- Maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery and after-sales support
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth account opening, loan processing, and service delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in retail or SME banking (preferably within a Microfinance or Commercial Bank)
- Proven track record in deposit mobilization, loan sales, and portfolio management
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, and risk management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital banking tools
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
- High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail
