Job description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of their store. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in attending to customers, managing inventory, driving sales while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations
- Supervise and motivate store staff to meet performance and sales targets
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and manage inventory record.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports
- Step in as acting Store Manager when required
Requirements:
& Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration or related field
- 2–4 years experience in retail or store operations (supervisory role preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and sales reporting
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Excel is an advantage)
