Retail Sales Representative at Huko Advisory services

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Retail Sales Representative to manage daily store operations at our Broad Street location on Lagos Island. This role requires a trustworthy, proactive individual who can work independently, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, customer service, stock management, and social media engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Welcome and assist customers, offering styling and product recommendations
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly sales targets
• Process cash and POS transactions accurately and maintain proper records
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high-quality shopping experience

Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Open and close the store daily according to company procedures
• Monitor and report on stock levels, damages, or discrepancies
• Assist in periodic stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and submit daily or weekly sales and stock reports using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Track all transactions and stock movements accurately
• Support audit and handover procedures when required

Social Media & Brand Engagement

• Manage Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and other social platforms for the store
• Create and post engaging product photos, videos, and promotional content
• Respond to customer inquiries and process online or social media orders

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, NCE, HND, or B.Sc degree in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, fashion, or customer service roles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with social media platforms
