Restaurant Storekeeper

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Location: Apo Resettlement, Abuja (FCT)  Position Overview: - We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage and maintain our restaurant’s inventory and storage operations. - The ideal candidate will ensure proper stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and timely availability of supplies to support smooth kitchen and restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and supplies - Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels - Issue ingredients and supplies to kitchen and service staff as required - Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of stock (FIFO) - Monitor stock usage and report shortages or discrepancies - Coordinate with suppliers and management for timely reordering - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area - Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Requirements: - Previous experience as a store keeper or in inventory management (restaurant or hospitality preferred) - Basic knowledge of food items, kitchen supplies, and storage procedures - Good organizational and record-keeping skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic computer skills (inventory software or spreadsheets is a plus) - Physically able to lift and move stock items.
