Restaurant Server at Amala Sky

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Server to join our expanding team at Amala Sky in Lagos. The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the appropriate system or process
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience
• Communicate customer orders clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
• Ensure correct meal delivery to the right tables
• Assist in packaging take-away orders where necessary
• Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate when required
• Clean and reset tables quickly for incoming guests

Qualifications & Requirements

• SSCE / OND qualification preferred
• Previous experience as a Server or Customer Service staff is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of food and beverage service procedures
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and remain courteous at all times
• Neat appearance, good grooming, and a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for long hours

Working Hours

• Shift-based schedule depending on restaurant operations
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Reporting Line

Reports to the Restaurant Supervisor, Floor Manager, or Restaurant Manager.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: N60,000 per month
• Additional benefits may include staff meals and overtime compensation
