## Title: Restaurant Manager
About the Role
The Restaurant Manager oversees all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high service quality, strong staff performance, cost control, and overall profitability. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences while managing people, finances, inventory, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
- Manage front- and back-of-house operations
- Uphold standard operating procedures and brand standards
- Ensure smooth kitchen coordination
- Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff members
- Conduct performance reviews
- Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team
Financial Control
- Drive sales targets and revenue growth
- Control food and labour costs
- Monitor profitability and financial performance
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting
Inventory & Procurement
- Oversee stock control and inventory management
- Monitor supplier performance
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- Prevent loss and waste
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain workplace safety protocols
- Meet all regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Financial discipline and acumen
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Capability to manage multiple shifts effectively
