About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for the position of Residential Cook. You will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality local and continental meals for a family, with a focus on authentic Akwa Ibom and Igbo cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

Create diverse and balanced menus
Plan and prepare high-quality local and continental meals
Advise on ingredients and sourcing
Ensure a delightful dining experience in line with dietary preferences and standards

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Igbo and Akwa Ibom cuisine
Minimum 2 years of family cooking experience or restaurant experience
Proven experience in preparing South-east and South-south dishes

Required Skills and Attributes

Excellent culinary skills and food preparation techniques
Menu planning expertise
Strong knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
Professional and polite demeanor
