## Title: Relationships Officer
Position Overview
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in client relationship management and account services.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
- Opening accounts, serving demand notices, championing premises inspections, and issuing certificates
- Making presentations, administering and processing all types of recovery actions, conducting negotiations, and following up accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring all transactions and operations comply with regulations and internal policies to minimize risk
- Maintaining and updating records within appropriate databases relating to billings and revenue collections
- Addressing and resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and account-related issues in a timely and professional manner
- Identifying opportunities to recover services and generate new business through referrals and networking
- Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and preparing reports
- Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Staying up-to-date on LGA regulations and bylaws
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues, build rapport, and handle sensitive financial information
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and identify issues
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as an account officer or relationship management officer in a commercial bank or MFB
- Previous experience as a marketing officer, sales canvasser, or sales merchandiser in an FMCG company
