## Title: Relationships Officer

Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in client relationship management and account services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
  • Opening accounts, serving demand notices, championing premises inspections, and issuing certificates
  • Making presentations, administering and processing all types of recovery actions, conducting negotiations, and following up accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring all transactions and operations comply with regulations and internal policies to minimize risk
  • Maintaining and updating records within appropriate databases relating to billings and revenue collections
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and account-related issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying opportunities to recover services and generate new business through referrals and networking
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and preparing reports
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Staying up-to-date on LGA regulations and bylaws

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues, build rapport, and handle sensitive financial information
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and identify issues

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience as an account officer or relationship management officer in a commercial bank or MFB
  • Previous experience as a marketing officer, sales canvasser, or sales merchandiser in an FMCG company
