## Title: Relationships Officer
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing excellent customer service
- Open accounts, serve demand notices, champion premises inspections, and issue certificates
- Make presentations, administer, and process all types of recovery actions and negotiations
- Follow up accurately and efficiently on all outstanding matters
- Ensure all transactions and operations comply with regulations and internal policies to minimize risk
- Maintain and update records within appropriate databases relating to billings and revenue collections
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and account-related issues in a timely and professional manner
- Identify opportunities to recover and expand services to existing clients
- Generate potential new business through referrals and networking
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay up-to-date on LGA regulations and bylaws
Required Qualifications
- Relevant educational qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Ability to build rapport and handle sensitive financial information
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and identify issues
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as an Account Officer or Relationship Management Officer in a commercial bank or MFB
- Previous experience as a Marketing Officer, Sales Canvasser, or Sales Merchandiser in an FMCG company
