## Title: University Registrar

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to serve as University Registrar, a Principal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of the University.

The Registrar is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University, except as otherwise stated by the University Charter. The Registrar also serves as Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.

Requirements

Education

  • A good Honours Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division from a recognised University
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline

Experience

  • At least fifteen (15) years of relevant post-graduation experience in University Administration or similar institution

Technical Competencies

  • Digital proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of Information and Communication Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Automated Registry Operations
  • Conversance with current trends in reporting

Professional Credentials

  • Registered Member of any of the following Professional Bodies: ANUPA, CIPM, NIM, or equivalent

Other Requirements

  • Must be between 45 and 60 years of age at the time of assumption of duty
