About the Role

St Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the maternity care continuum.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide antenatal care including monitoring pregnant women, offering information, emotional support, and reassurance
• Assist women in labor, administer medication, and monitor fetal well-being during delivery
• Provide postnatal care and support to new mothers and their babies
• Assess patient care requirements and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medication and monitor treatment progress
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Requirements

• Valid practicing license as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
• Minimum 1-7 years of experience in nursing or midwifery (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in hospital, clinical, and community settings, providing comprehensive care to women and newborns.
