## Title: Regional Sales Manager – FMCG

Position Overview

Sonia Foods Industries is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with a strong background in the FMCG industry to lead and drive sales performance across assigned regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams, executing effective route-to-market strategies, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

  • Jos, Plateau State
  • Benin, Edo State

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Lead, coach, and manage the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Drive market expansion, distributor performance, and outlet coverage within the region
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and recommend corrective actions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and trade partners
  • Ensure effective execution of trade marketing activities and promotions
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years' total sales experience, beginning from a salesman role
  • At least 4 years' proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager
  • Mandatory FMCG industry experience (only candidates with FMCG backgrounds will be considered)
  • Strong experience in team leadership, distributor management, and sales execution
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth through effective people and performance management
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
