## Title: Regional Sales Coordinator (Lagos)
About the Role
An established company is recruiting for a Regional Sales Coordinator to drive sales growth and revenue targets across the Western Nigeria region, with a focus on the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve sales volume and revenue targets as defined in the business plan
- Generate and close leads by identifying potential clients, engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and finalizing deals to meet sales targets
- Track key sales metrics, analyze performance, and prepare timely and accurate reports for management
- Create and send proposals, quotes, and other sales documentation to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster trust and loyalty
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and leads in the CRM system
- Provide prompt reporting of activities to supervisor
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication, align sales strategies with business objectives, and provide comprehensive support for customer needs and service delivery
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure strategic marketing awareness and initiatives across the region
- Develop initiatives to promote sales and increase product awareness of the company's products and services
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, product availability, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities
- Meet with stakeholders in the oil and gas sector
- Attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows to enhance brand visibility, network, and generate leads
- Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in any field
- 3-5 years' sales experience in the oil and gas sector
- Existing customer base in the relevant industry (advantageous)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Very good knowledge of the Western Nigeria region
- Must reside in Lagos
- Willing to travel around Western Nigeria (40%)
