## Title: Reconciliations Officer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Reconciliations Officer. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for managing critical reconciliation processes across the organization's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank transfers with the company's records in Tally
- Reconcile point of sales (POS) transactions across the Blowfish Group
- Prepare monthly bank ledger reconciliations
- Identify and report irregularities and variances during reconciliation processes
- Recommend corrections for variances to ensure timely resolutions
- Create journals to correct issues identified during previous months' reconciliations
- Reconcile the Blowfish Group Bank Statements
- Authorize room rent payment receipts
Required Education & Experience
- HND or B.Sc Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 - 6 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Reconciliation expertise
- Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- Computer proficiency
- Understanding of financial regulations
