## Title: Receptionist
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Guest Check-in and Check-out
- Check guests in and out of the hotel in a courteous and pleasant manner
- Use appropriate phrases and greetings when interacting with guests
- Prepare documents and keys required for registration
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
- Provide information pertaining to available services and facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
Guest Services
- Assist with individual needs and requests of all guests
- Respond to guest needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain guest confidentiality at all times
- Conduct yourself in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters
- Greet every guest upon arrival
Guest Reservations
- Make, confirm, cancel, and change reservations
- Use proper telephone and reservation etiquette, including describing the hotel and providing accurate rate quotations
- Promptly and courteously respond to telephone calls and text messages, directing inquiries as appropriate
- Make reservations for services and facilities as needed
- Provide detailed information about points of interest and hotel facilities
