## Title: Receptionist
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited as a Receptionist in Lagos, Nigeria.
Functional Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out guests to company standards
- Greet, welcome, and inform guests of hotel policies during check-in
- Verify guests' payment methods and compute bills
- Deliver room keys and provide directions to guest rooms
- Advise guests on room features, utilities, and local amenities
- Provide excellent customer service at all times and handle calls and emails efficiently
- Input high-volume reservations accurately and note special requests
- Make bookings and cancellations via phone, email, or face-to-face, recording information on computer
- Process special requests such as room service, taxi bookings, and wake-up calls
- Answer questions about hotel facilities, local transport, places of interest, and entertainment
- Promote and upsell property facilities as a brand ambassador
- Use sales skills to promote additional hotel services and facilities
- Accommodate guests with extra pillows, cots, toiletries, and other requests
- Pass on messages to guests and handle mail for posting
- Maintain records of guest room bookings and ensure correct billing
- Help guests access the internet and WiFi
- Book and schedule conference rooms
- Create incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documents as requested by management
- Enforce hotel rules and regulations
- Alert management of any issues or concerns
- Support other units as directed by the General Manager
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
